The fish are fishing for us.

Peopling is a strange little fishing game by Club Sandwich Games. You are the fish. Swim across the upper water world, follow the People Finder and cast downward for the people living below.

Meet a more varied cast with distinct hairstyles, clothing, skin tones and proportions. Catches get a closer reveal with smoother reactions and steadier footing on the net. The goldfish has restored colors and smoother swimming, with gentler water glare. Your fishing rules, trophy catches, saved records and local tournaments are preserved.

Find your next catch

Explore six connected regions above submerged districts. Choose from seven baits, including coffee, a controller, a money bag and the Club Sandwich wildcard. Region, weather, time and bait affect your chances. The finder shows nearby activity; a dot does not guarantee a bite or reveal a person.

Watch the line. Work the rod.

Wait for the strong bite, set the hook and pull against the visible line. Reel while tension is green, ease off when it climbs, then time the net. A featureless silhouette approaches the surface during the fight. The person, age, type and rarity are revealed after a successful catch.

Play solo or pass the controller

Take a solo trip or choose a 1–4 player local hot-seat tournament. Everyone takes a turn on each of three days. Pick 3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes per player per day and pass the keyboard/mouse or controller at the handoff. Cumulative points decide the winner.

Keep your trophies

Save personal trophy catches under three-character initials. Solo trips and completed tournaments have separate high scores for each time limit, so a fifteen-minute run cannot replace a three-minute record.

Pick up and play

Keyboard & mouse: W/S swim, A/D turn, Q opens bait, Space casts or hooks, hold left mouse or Space to reel, and move the mouse or use A/D against the pull. Release reel to ease tension; right mouse or Shift gives extra line. E nets the catch. Escape pauses. Menus also support mouse clicks.

Controller: RT/LT swim, left stick turns or counters the pull, Y opens bait, A casts/hooks/reels, B or LT gives line, X nets and Start/Menu pauses. EXIT TO DESKTOP is in the main and pause menus.

A downloadable Windows 64-bit exploration prototype. Extract the complete download and run Peopling.exe; Unreal Editor is not required. Read the included HOW_TO_PLAY.md for the full guide. This version uses a freely swimming fish, the directional People Finder and the visible-line fishing fight. Exiting a tournament keeps saved catches but discards the unfinished event.
